In addition to the most sophisticated technologies Vega is equipped with traditionally-designed CNC machines. FJV vertical work stations are extremely powerful portal milling machines designed for high-speed, high-accuracy and outstanding ease of operation. The Mazak FJV 250 can process any type of material, from brass to stainless steel, from aluminum alloys to a wide range of plastics and is particularly suitable for the machining of complex Aerospace Components. The Mazatrol programming language and ease of use make this milling machine a seven-day-a week reliable workmate.                                         

VTC work stations work harder than any other machine in our plant. Thanks to the fixed board and to the wide work platform (up to 1200mm cross-sectional run) the Mazak VTC 200 supports a large number of tools and manufacturing processes which efficiently reduce both setup costs and the overall manufacturing-time of every product.

The BIGLIA brand of turning machines have been a constant in Vega for over twenty years. The most recent acquisition is the series 550 and this machine represents the ideal match between investment between investment in the production process and return. Equipped with an automatic material loader and conveyor belt for unsupervised access, the BIGLIA 550 YS can be programmed to run 24/7 unsupervised. Thanks to a quick re-setup time and the high skill levels of Vega personnel, these turning machines are the most flexible and manufacture a high proportion of the components in the  VEGA production range.

Predecessor of the afore mention B550, the BIGLIA B501 turning machine has almost identical production capabilities to its successor.
